Re-YALLY-sation in the spotlight

The new circular rental home in the Patronaatstraat: A Future-oriented Housing Project by Yally.

An innovative transformation in the heart of Edegem

Edegem has a wonderful addition thanks to the new circular rental home on Patronaatstraat. What once were two bicycle sheds is now a modern and sustainable family home of 140m², realized by Yally in collaboration with concept construction company CIRCL. This project is not only an upgrade of the streetscape, but also a symbol of innovation and sustainability.

Circular and sustainable living

Sustainability is the key word in the construction of this home. No less than seventy percent of all materials used are bio-based, and forty percent of the material volume is recycled. The house is equipped with the latest energy-efficient technologies such as a heat pump and solar panels, which contributes to minimal energy costs and consumption. In addition, the house is thoroughly insulated, ensuring a high level of comfort for the residents.

What makes this home extra special is its modularity. Thanks to the modular design, the homes can easily be dismantled or modified. This means that the home can easily be reduced or expanded, without loss of material. This is maximum circularity in practice.

Community facilities and sense of community

A shared bicycle shed has been set up under the house for all surrounding apartments. This not only promotes the use of bicycles, but also a sense of community among residents. The adjacent apartments themselves also have a new, insulated front and rear facade with brick strips, and modern insulating windows, which contributes to the aesthetic value of the Edegem center.

A compact but comfortable home

The family home, in the heart of Edegem and opposite a school, has three bedrooms, one bathroom, two toilets and a roof terrace. Despite the compact design, the house is very modern and comfortable. Every detail in the home reflects the brand identity and style of Yally, which strives for automation, standardization and economies of scale in its projects.

A fast and efficient construction period

One of the most impressive aspects of this project is the construction time. Where normally the construction of a home takes 18 to 24 months, this home was completed in just two months. This not only means minimal inconvenience to the neighborhood, but also optimized efficiency within the construction team.

A vision for the future

Yally wanted to provide an answer to the growing demand for quality rental properties with this project. It is an example of modern, sustainable living with innovative solutions that promote energy efficiency and have minimal impact on the environment. This project marks the beginning of a series of initiatives that reflect Yally's vision for a better future.

In the coming months, Yally will also fully insulate and aesthetically enhance the facade of the homes on Oude Godstraat. top up.

With this house, Edegem has a beautiful example of circular and sustainable living, a clear proof of the Yally's commitment to contributing to the renovation wave and being a quality landlord of the future.
